This policy explains how refunds work on Lensdrop. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms outlined below. This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Free Trial
We offer a free trial so you can evaluate Lensdrop before committing to a paid plan. We strongly recommend using the trial period to ensure Lensdrop meets your needs.
EU and UK Consumers — Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), you have the right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) or equivalent UK law.
By subscribing and using Lensdrop immediately, you acknowledge that you request the service to begin during the withdrawal period. If you have used the service during the 14-day period, you may be charged proportionally for the period of use. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at hello@lensdrop.app within 14 days of your subscription date.
General Refund Policy
Outside of statutory withdrawal rights, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. We generally do not provide refunds for dissatisfaction with the service, as we offer a free trial so you can evaluate Lensdrop before subscribing.
When We May Consider a Refund
- You were charged after cancelling your subscription due to a technical error
- You were double-charged for the same billing period
- A significant service outage prevented you from using Lensdrop for an extended period
When We Generally Do Not Offer Refunds
- You changed your mind after subscribing (outside the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal period)
- You forgot to cancel before the next billing cycle
- You are dissatisfied with features that were clearly described before purchase
- Partial-month or partial-year usage
How to Request a Refund
Contact us at hello@lensdrop.app with your account email and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and provide a decision within 10 business days.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If there is a conflict between this policy and applicable law, the law prevails.
